Why Might I Be Seated With Other Members at Seated Events?

At Offline seated events, table arrangements depend on the restaurant’s layout and how many tickets you book. Because every dining room is different, here’s how it usually plays out:

1–2 Tickets = Shared Tables Possible

If you book 1 or 2 tickets, you may be seated with other Offline members. Many restaurants have mostly 4-tops or larger, so we work with them to fill those seats. It helps restaurants meet their goals and sometimes turns into a social experience — like a dinner party with new people.

Solo Tickets May Be Limited

For certain seated events, solo tickets aren’t always available. If a restaurant doesn’t have bar seating or enough 2-tops to make sense, we may restrict single tickets to avoid awkward seating situations.

3+ Tickets = Your Own Table

Booking 3 or more tickets usually means you’ll have your own table, since that fills most restaurant layouts.

Every Restaurant Layout is Different

Some spots lean on communal tables, others on 2-tops, and plenty have a mix. We coordinate with the restaurant to make sure seating works best for them and for the Offline experience.

Want to Sit Together With Friends?

  • Have one person grab all the tickets for your group, or

  • Book the same time slot individually and let the host know when you arrive that you’d like to sit together.

👉 TLDR: At seated events, seating is built around each restaurant’s layout. 1–2 tickets may mean sharing a table, solo tickets are sometimes limited, and 3+ usually locks in your own table. It’s all designed to support the restaurant and give you a great night out — sometimes that means a private table, sometimes it’s a chance to meet new people.
