What is Offline Unlimited?
We're running a pilot that started in October of 2024 that allows users to pay an additional fee on top of their annual plan to have unlimited dining credits.
Why are you piloting this?
We want to understand how members use Offline if they don't have to think/worry about credits. We'll be keeping track of member's usage behavior during the pilot and comparing it to non-pilot members to see if it's better or worse.
We at Offline want people visiting restaurants every month. It's good for the member, it's good for the restaurant, and it's good for Offline. Unlimited is one of our experiments to see if we can get people out trying new things more.
How do the unlimited credits work?
During the pilot, we enable your account to be unlimited and give you 100 bonus credits. B/c this is a test, we didn't want to spend a ton of time on development that might need to change. If you are running low during the pilot, you can just email us and we'll add more.
Does this mean I can go to the same restaurant over and over?
No. You still have to wait to re-use Offers. Our default is 15 months until you can reuse something, but we have a project going on with some partners that will let you use them sooner. We'll be adding more info to the app as that happens.
What if I've been to most of the spots I wanted to go to in my city?
Yep. Two things here for you.
We're adding at least 4 new spots a month in the pilot cities which should keep you busy.
For newer/smaller markets, this is part of the pilot experiment. If people aren't signing up for the pilot b/c of this, our leadership team will take note and adjust as needed.
What can I use my credits on?
You can use your credits on:
Claiming + using restaurant Offers
Claiming + using Perks (coming soon)
Getting credit based Event tickets (coming soon, note some special Events will still have a cost and you will not be able to use credits for those events)
Can I use my credits in other Offline cities?
Yes. You can use your unlimited membership in any of Offline's 10 cities spanning 500+ restaurants.
I need an annual membership to participate?
Yes. You will need to be on an annual plan to participate. If you're monthly, you'll need to upgrade and pay for a full year of regular Offline first and then sign up for the additional small Unlimited pilot program fee.
What if my yearly membership renews during the pilot, do I get charged again for the pilot fee?
Nope! Your yearly membership fee will continue to renew once/year at the original price you had before. The Unlimited pilot fee is a one-time fee while we're running for the pilot.

How much does it cost?
The pilot fee is an ADDITIONAL FEE on top of your regular annual plan.
The pilot pricing is slightly different depending on the market you're in so reach out to support. The cost will get you one calendar year of Offline Unlimited (or until the pilot ends). It doesn't matter when your subscription renews, your Unlimited payment is a one time-fee for now until we decide how long we'll be keeping it around.
Is it a single cost for the whole membership?
No. This is a fee on top of the annual membership fee you already pay.
A regular annual membership gets you:

Access to all Offline cities
a few other benefits
Adding Offline Unlimited just removes the credit/month limit and you don't have to think about them anymore.
