Offline User Council - Terms of Service
1. Introduction
Welcome to the Offline User Council. By participating in our council, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Code of Conduct
a. Respect and Kindness: All members of the Offline User Council are expected to be kind and respectful to one another. Harassment, bullying, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the council and the Offline service.
b. Constructive Feedback: While we appreciate all feedback, we ask that it be constructive and solution-oriented. This helps us make more informed decisions and fosters a positive environment for all members.
3. Membership Termination
a. Voluntary Exit: Members can leave the Offline User Council at any time. To do so, please send an email to [email protected] indicating your wish to leave. Your request will be processed promptly.
b. Involuntary Removal: We reserve the right to remove any member from the council who violates these terms or engages in disruptive behavior.
4. Use of Feedback
a. Marketing Material: We may use your feedback, comments, and statements in our marketing materials. However, we will always attribute any quotes or feedback to your first name only. Your last name will never be shared publicly.
b. Confidentiality: Any feedback or information shared within the council is confidential. Members are not allowed to share or disclose any information discussed within the council to third parties without explicit permission.
5. Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to update, modify, or change these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to council members via email. Continued participation in the council after changes are made signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
6. Liability
a. Limitation of Liability: Neither Offline nor any of its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, or agents will be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory, arising out of your participation in the council.
b. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Offline and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including legal fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your participation in the council.
7. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Offline is based, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
