Where did my monthly credits go?

We’re simplifying the Offline membership — and that means monthly credits are officially gone.

Instead of giving you a limited number of credits each month, your membership now gives you unlimited access to every Offer in the app. No more rationing or choosing “the perfect moment” to use your credits. Just explore whenever something looks good.

Why we made this change

Over the past year, we ran a pilot with thousands of Members who tested an “unlimited” version of Offline. The response was overwhelmingly positive:

  • Members explored more places

  • Restaurants saw stronger results

  • The experience felt way simpler

...so we’re making it permanent.

A quick note about return windows

“Unlimited” doesn’t mean unlimited repeat visits to the same spot.

Return windows (usually 3–6 months) still apply — just like they always have.

They exist to keep the program sustainable for restaurants and to encourage variety in your dining.

What’s happening next

For now, you’ll see an infinity symbol where your credits used to be — that’s your new access model. Over the next few weeks, you’ll notice the app changing somewhat as we transition away from the credit model.

What’s a Return Window? (And Why It Exists)

Return windows are the time you need to wait before using an Offer again at the same restaurant. They’ve always been part of Offline — and they’re one of the key ways we keep the program healthy for both Members and restaurants.

Why we use return windows

Offline is built so that restaurants profit from partnering with us — not lose money.

To make that work:

Members get rewarded for trying new places

Restaurants get a steady flow of new, high-intent diners

Nobody abuses Offers by using the same discount over and over again

Return windows keep this balance in place.

How long are return windows?

Most of our partners are now on a 3-month return window.

That means: You can revisit your favorites more often than in the early days of Offline (when the default was 15 months!), but still not so often that it becomes unsustainable for the restaurant.

Some partners may have slightly longer windows depending on their business model — but three months is now the norm.

You can always see the return window for any restaurant directly in the app.

Why this is a win for everyone

You’re encouraged to try new places, not fall into the same 2-restaurant loop. Offline is at its best when you’re exploring.

🍽 For Restaurants

They get strong ROI and a predictable flow of guests — not the same people returning only when there’s a discount.

This balance keeps Offline sustainable so we can keep adding more local spots every month.

Do return windows limit how much I can use Offline?

Nope! With unlimited access, you can use as many Offers as you want — you just need to wait before repeating the same one.

Think of it like this: Unlimited new experiences. Reasonable spacing for repeats.
